medium firebowl with crane
TÂN A DUR is a new venture that has grown out of family life ~ a range of fire bowls, cooking equipment and garden products designed and made by Ambrose. These products started out for use at home ~ a fire bowl for cooking on and for garden bonfires, scrolls on poles to tame unruly plants. Following gatherings, sharing meals round the fire with family and friends we have been inundated with requests to make more. Due to such popular demand for these versatile and useful products we have decided to share them with a wider audience.
TÂN A DUR means ‘Fire and Steel’ in Welsh, a name reflecting Ambrose’s Welsh heritage (born and raised in mid-Wales), our home on the verdant, hill rich Welsh Marches and the elemental basis of the hand-crafted metalwork.
